The Montgomery crest and tartan background wrap this glossy ceramic accent mug, with the motto Garde Bien — commonly translated as “Watch Well” — close at hand for the first cup of the day.
The Montgomery name is documented in Scotland by the late twelfth and early thirteenth centuries, and the family later became closely associated with Eglinton in Ayrshire.
